PHANTOMS UPDATE

We are just past the halfway point of the USL 2 season and Seacoast United Phantoms hold the highest PPG in the Northeast division, with some very important games to come. The Phantoms take on Vermont Green this coming Tuesday in Epping, for a top of the table clash. Seacoast United come off the back of an very impressive win this past Friday where they beat Western Mass Pioneers 2-1 on the road. Taig Healy’s 5th goal of the season and a Ted Cargill goal from the top of the box helped secure the win in what was the first time Western Mass have lost a home regular season game at Lusitano Stadium in over 5 years – dating back to June 22, 2018!

Vermont come to Epping with some convincing wins and who many are calling the favorites for the NE division title this year. With just 2 playoffs spots at stake in the NE division, it looks like it will go right down to the wire as it stands. The Phantoms have a very busy week ahead of them with Vermont Tuesday and then Black Rock away Friday followed by a road trip to Albany Sunday.

Since taking over in 2020 Head Coach Alex Ryan and assistants Paul Baber and Andrew Pesci, hold an impressive record of 30-4-6 with back-to-back playoff berths, and a division title to their name. With 6 games remaining this season, both players and staff have full sights set on another playoff run.

Come cheer on the Seacoast United Phantoms this coming Tuesday June 27th at 6pm, at the Seacoast United Epping Outdoor Complex. Come on you Phantoms!
