Youth Programs Overview

Seacoast United Soccer Club offers a wide variety of soccer programs at their indoor and outdoor facilities throughout the year! There are programs available for toddlers, youth and adult athletes of all abilities. Below you will find a breakdown of each program offered and a brief description. Types of Youth Programs

  • Grassroots 4-6 Years

    The Seacoast United Soccer Club, Grassroots Program is an introduction into the amazing sport of soccer in an interactive, fun and structured environment. The overall theme of the Grassroots Program is to create a place that the players relate fun with the skills and activities that they are a part of, in turn providing a framework for more soccer technique acquisition as the player gets older.

  • Futures Program 6-10 Years

    The FUTURES PROGRAM offered through the Seacoast United Soccer Club is a program designed to offer competitive players from the U6 to U10 age groups an opportunity to practice with the Seacoast United Soccer Club, Boys & Girls Academy coaching staff in the Fall and Spring Seasons.

  • Junior Academy 7-14 Years

    The Seacoast United Soccer Club, Junior Academy Program is an accelerated soccer training and playing program which prioritizes skill development and nurtures a love for playing in a fun, competitive, and age-appropriate environment. The Junior Academy Program is a unique and special training program for a select group of players within the U7-U14 age groups and can be found on the Seacoast United Soccer Club, Player Development Pathway (Second Step of Pyramid) along with the Futures Program.

  • Skills Development Program 7-14 Years

    The Seacoast United Soccer Club, Skills Development Program emphasizes soccer technical skill development and scrimmage play within every training session. The Skills Development Program was created for athletes ranging from the ages 7-14 years. The overall focus of this program is to enhance the confidence of a player while in possession of the ball, as well as to develop tactical awareness during game play.

  • Training Academy Program 13-18 Years

    The Seacoast United Soccer Club, Training Academy Program is a curriculum-based training program that focuses on developing players individual skill & quickness. Over the course of the sessions players will work to improve dribbling for speed, first touch, shooting & passing technique as well as work on agility and dynamic movement. This program is perfect for any player hoping to play at the club level or make an impression with their town travel or high school teams!

  • Specialized Skills Program

    The Seacoast United Soccer Club, Specialized Skills Training Programs are available to athletes year-round in all regions at various indoor and outdoor facilities. The curriculum for each program is catered towards highly motivated athletes who are Town/Travel, Club, and Premier level and may include individual exercises, small-sided activities and small-sided game play. The Specialized Skills Training Programs are a great additional program for athletes who are looking to improve and refine his or her soccer skills, get extra touches on the ball and focus on more specific parts of skill development and athleticism.

  • SUGS Program 9-18 Years

    The Seacoast United Goalkeeper School (SUGS) is an environment where goalkeepers are able to learn, develop, excel and test themselves in all aspects of the game. The Seacoast United Goalkeeper School staff works with goalkeepers of all skill abilities from U8 to U19. It is extremely important to the Seacoast United Goalkeeper School staff that goalkeepers of all ages receive the appropriate level training as they learn and improve at various rates throughout their development as goalkeepers. When first entering the program, the staff will emphasize the importance of fundamentals of goalkeeping while covering the following basic skills: handling, diving, distribution, reactions, positioning, explosiveness, footwork and quickness.

    The program is an application process that provides families with financial aid for Grassroots programs etc.

    The #AREUIN? card provides eligible students full or partial scholarships to out-of-school programs & activities offered through our partners, without having to fill out financial aid paperwork at the time of signing up.
