Seacoast United U18 Academy Tops New England Revolution 3-1

Saturday, November 9th, 2013

Seacoast United’s Development Academy hosted New England Revolution on Saturday November 9th at the Club’s Outdoor Complex in Epping, NH.  SUSC’s U18’s took an early lead just 8 minutes into the game through a brilliant Mario Prata direct kick from 20 yards out, leaving the Revolution goalkeeper no chance of stopping the shot.  New England equalized in the 32nd minute off a counter attack, goal scored by Daniel Apajee.

Seacoast continued to dominate and regained the lead just 5 minutes later on a goal by Frandtzy Pierrot, coming minutes before the end of the first half.  Pierrot caused problems for the Revolution defense the entire game.

Entering the 2nd half, Seacoast continued where they left off and extended their lead to 3-1 on a goal from Keith Hill.  Other dominating performances for Seacoast included midfielders Jordan Misiri, Kevin Herrera, and Prata allowed the U18’s the platform to control the match tempo.  SUSC defense proved to be the big difference in the game, lead by captain Matt Cooper and supported by Trevor Delp, Matt Latsha, and Emmanuel Smith.  Man of the Match was Seacoast United goalkeeper Jake Siegal.
