Seacoast United PreAcademy Teams Kick Off Spring Season

April 2, 2016

The 2003 and 2002 PreAcademy season began this past weekend in New York. Both groups had a strong showing with noticeable improvements since the fall season. The 2002s lost a tight game against Albertson SC in Long Island, NY.  However, the team dominated the field for a large portion of the game and were unlucky not to come away with a victory.

The Pre Academy 2003 Pool splits into two teams: Blue & White. Both squads beat their Albertson SC opponents on Saturday. On Sunday, the 2003s played Gottschee in Queens, NY as "Blue" finished with a 4-6 loss and White wrapping up the weekend with a 5-4 win. Coach Peter Decker was pleased with the improvements each team made and the results after playing other strong Academy programs.

Both the 2002s and 2003s are back in action again on Saturday, April 9th. The 2003 teams will be playing Cedar Stars and the 2002 team will be playing Everton FC Westchester.  All three games take place at the Seacoast United Outdoor Complex in Epping, NH.
