Joey Barima
U12 & U13 Development Academy Head Coach                                      
Biography:  Joey was a starting defender at the University of New Hampshire and helped lead the program to a school record for most shutouts in a season (11, 2007), a 5th place ranking in the NSCAA/Adidas Northeast Regional Poll (2008), and appearances in the conference quarter finals (2008) and conference semi-finals (2007).  Prior to attending UNH, he captained his junior college team at Lon Morris (TX) wihch advanced to the conference quarter finals in 2006.  That same year, Joey lead the team with 16 goals and 3 assists and was named first team All-Region.  Joey is a native of London, England and graduated from Canon Palmer High School in 2004.

Joey has been working at Seacoast United since 2009 where he was a part time member of staff and was involved with SUSC Grassroots Programs as well as the Club’s first Junior Academy programs in York & Berwick.  He became a full time member of staff in 2010 and is now the U9-U13 Boys & Girls Coaching Director as well as head coach of the U12 Boys US Soccer Development Academy team.  Joey holds a USSF "C" License.

James Goodwin

Biography:  James is a native of Merrimack, NH, played collegiate soccer at Syracuse University, and later had a brief professional career in Norway.  James has been coaching youth soccer in New Hampshire for over 5 years, in addition he was the assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Southern NH University and head varsity coach for Merrimack High School.
Alex Ryan
U15 Academy Head Coach                           

Biography:  Alex was born in Newcastle, England and had spells at both Sunderland Academy and Gateshead FC before moving to the United States to pursue a soccer scholarship at Campbellsville University, KY.  Alex was a 4-year starter, two-year captain and was named 1st Team All-Conference on three separate occasions.  He lead CU to a ranking of #6 in the nation, one conference championship, and two national tournament appearances.  He holds a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing.

Alex has been involved with Seacoast United since the summer of 2013 where he was initially brought in to play for the Seacoast United Phantoms - formerly PDL, now USL2, where he played for 4 consecutive seasons. Alex has since gone on to serve as Head Coach for the Phantoms in the NPSL, and also as an assistant coach for the USL2 team.

In his current role he is the Boys' Director of Coaching for the U15-U19 age groups, Development Academy head coach, and also USL2 General Manager.

Peter Decker
U17 & U19 Development Academy Head Coach

Biography: Peter was born in Manchester, England and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Honors) in Secondary Physical Education in 2008.  During his playing career at University, Peter was a 4-year starter and also had spells at various clubs throughout the North-West of England.

Peter has been involved with Seacoast United since the summer of 2007.  Initially brought over to coach on the Summer Camp program, Peter joined the Club in a full-time role in 2009.  His current role includes being the Boys' Development Academy Director. In 2019/20, Peter will be coaching the U17 Seacoast United Boys' Development Academy team.

Iain Scott
Seacoast United Director of Coaching                   
Biography:  Iain comes to Seacoast United with an extensive coaching background.  From 2000-2005, Iain coached with the Scottish First Division club Queen of the South, 3 of those years as head coach.  After his years with QOS, he served as the Youth Academy Director for Gretna Football Club in the Scottish Premier League from 2006-2007, then moved on to become the Gretna FC First Team Assistant Manager ('07-'08).  Most recently, Scott worked at the senior level in Player Coach Development and Pro Youth Performance with the Scottish Football Association and Scottish Premier League Academy Mentoring (2008-2010).  Scott holds numerous coaching qualifications, including the UEFA A License, UEFA Level 5 Youth license, a diploma in Sport Psychology, and has received the Youth Directors Award, PSM Performance Sport Movement Award, and the Scottish FA Course Tutor Award.  He is currently the Seacoast United Phantoms PDL head coach.

Chelsea Watson
Seacoast United Soccer Club Registrar          
Biography:  USSF Licensed coach Chelsea Watson is a former three-sport athlete at Marshwood High School. She played for SUSC premier teams in 2001-2003. She was a four-year varsity soccer player and captain her senior year. She graduated breaking all goal keeping records and was named to the Fosters Dream Team. She continued to play soccer,  basketball and softball for Lyndon State College where she earned her B.S in Exercise Science. In 2015, Chelsea was named Varsity Girls’ Soccer coach at Marshwood High School. Chelsea lead them to their second program appearance in the Regional championship.

She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University. 

Chelsea has worked as the Club Registrar for Seacoast United since the 2018/19 season.
