Seacoast United Offers NIKE SPARQ Training Camp

Nike SPARQ Training is a new dynamic training method designed to make you a better player by improving on five basic elements of athleticism: SPEED. POWER. AGILITY. REACTION. QUICKNESS.

How’s it different? For starters, its dynamic, which means it develops skills the way you use them on game day: in motion. SPARQ provides real, tangible and measurable results for athletes of all ages and skill levels through training and standardized testing, superior products and a digital training environment.

Nike SPARQ Training provides athletes with access to new and dynamic training experiences. A SPARQ Rating enables athletes to track their progress, measure improvement and benchmark themselves against other elite performers across the nation. Since its inception, more than 200,000 official SPARQ Ratings have been registered by athletes determined to reaching the next level.
 
The 3 day camp (July14-17) is being offered by Athletic Evolution Strength & Conditioning and will teach the drills that make up the SPARQ rating, go over speed development, and teach you techniques and drills designed to enhance your overall athletic ability. The SPARQ rating is a great tool for you to see where you rank athletically with other athletes from around the country in your age group and who play the same sport as you. It is also a great measuring stick to see the progress that you make throughout the course of a training program.
 
On Thursday, July 17 NIKE and SPARQ will be at the Seacoast United Outdoor Complex in Epping, NH from 12pm-6pm. They will be testing each participant in the 20 meter sprint, the Arrowhead Agility drill, the vertical jump, and the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test. The Thursday event is free and estimated time to complete all tests is approximately one hour.
