Saturday, February 8th saw the Grand Reopening of Seacoast United’s Indoor Arena in Hampton with special guest Cat Whitehill, US Women’s Soccer Olympic Gold Medal winner and two time World Cup 3rd Place finish.  In addition to the former US standout, Seacoast United’s own Rachel Hill was also on hand to be part of the festivities having just qualified for the U20 Women’s World Cup by beating Mexico 4-0 at the recent CONCACAF Championships held in the Cayman Islands in January.

The Seacoast United Indoor Arena was built in 1997 and after an expansion in 1999, the facility has played home to athletes of all ages, abilities and various sports over the years.  Over the past several months, construction has been underway inside the arena as Seacoast Sports Clubs developed an 8,500 sq ft fitness facility and Exeter Hospital established a 2,500 sq ft outpatient rehabilitation clinic.  The activity caps off a transformation of 311 Winnacunnet Road as the Rim Basketball Facility opened its doors this past August.

"Today’s event was a great opportunity to celebrate the culmination of two years collaboration and planning," commented Jon Parker, Owner of Seacoast Sports Clubs.  "We are excited to be a part of the Hampton community and bring our own unique brand of fitness to our newest location.  Partnering with Seacoast United and Exeter Hospital allows us all to serve the region with our individual and complimentary services.”

“Exeter Hospital has had the pleasure of partnering with Seacoast United for the past couple of years and we greatly value the relationship," added Sharon Scott, speaking on behalf of Exeter Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation.  "We are very excited to have this unique opportunity with a new Physical Therapy Clinic within this sports complex.  We specialize in musculoskeletal injuries, post operative conditions, spine and sports injuries as well as injury prevention and are delighted to be a part of the Hampton community.”

Seacoast Sports Clubs is a family of full service health clubs, and the Seacoast United facility is their fifth location.  SSC Hampton is a comprehensive health club with a full offering of cardio and strength equipment as well as a unique brand of group fitness classes.  SSC Hampton has a state of the art strength and conditioning space designed to run programs for adults, kids and athletes of all ages.  SSC Hampton memberships start at $29.95.
