Seacoast United Announces Partnership With Salem Soccer

May 10, 2010

Seacoast United is very pleased to announce that it has officially partnered with the Salem Youth Soccer Association in an effort to further develop the game of soccer in the area.  “Salem already brings to the table a cohesive recreational and travel program, and a committed Board of Directors.  We are thrilled to be able to offer our experience to help maximize the potential of the SYSA.”  Said Ian Burgess, Director of Operations at Seacoast United.  Former UNH player and current Seacoast United staff member Dan Revis has been appointed Director of Coaching.  When asked about the position, Revis said, “I am extremely excited not only to begin working directly with players, but also making myself available for any of their coaches to use as an asset.”

Seacoast United will be working very closely with all of the coaches involved in SYSA from the travel to the recreational level.  Dan will be setting up and implementing a curriculum that will create consistency from not only from recreational levels to travel, but also from one age group to the next.  A wide range of programs will be offered, from goalie clinics to summer camps and they will be available on the Seacoast United website.

For any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail Dan Revis at drevis@seacoastunited.org
