In 2012, the Phantoms finished 3rd in the Northeast Atlantic-North division of the WPSL behind NE Aztec and New England Mutiny with a 4-3-3 record.  CFC struggled offensively and finished the season 0-7-3.

Veterans Emma Clark, Kirsten O’Neil, Danielle Courtemanche, and Monique LaMotte look to lead the squad, with many additions from last year’s U17’s Region I Finalists including Rachel Hill (UConn) and Lydia Simmons (Vanderbilt).  LaMotte returns to the Phantoms for her 4th season after spending pre-season training with the Boston Breakers.

NPSL to Host Brooklyn on Sunday
The NPSL Phantoms will host Brooklyn Italians at Portsmouth High School for a 7:30pm kickoff Sunday evening.  The Phantoms return to NH after a road trip that takes them to NY Red Bull for a Saturday afternoon matinee.

Experienced veterans on the NPSL roster include Seacoast United coaches James Goodwin and Peter Decker, and UNH Alumni Kyle Urso, Brett Wyman, and Dylan George.   Goodwin & George also roster with the Phantoms PDL team.  The squad features several players who have graduated through Seacoast United’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy program, including Nick Bergen, Quinn Conner, Matthew Cooper, Robert Palumbo, Jimmy Petruccelli, Frantzdy Pierrot, and Andre Simmond.

Brooklyn saw an early start to their season with their first game taking place May 5th, resulting in a 4-3 victory over Rhode Island Reds. After nearly a month since their last match, the Italians are spending the weekend in New England, facing the Seacoast United Mariners in Scarborough, ME on Saturday before the Phantoms matchup on Sunday night.
