Worra Signs With DC United

Former Seacoast United Phantoms goalkeeper Travis Worra has earned an opportunity to play at the next level, as Major League Soccer's DC United signed the undrafted University of NH product earlier this week.

Worra not only played for the Phantoms PDL and NPSL teams, but he also has coached within the Seacoast United youth system.  The Club is delighted that he has been recognized for his outstanding goalkeeping ability.  During his time at UNH, the Pennsylvania native was named America East Goalkeeper of the Year in 2013.

"Travis has all the attributes required to progress far in the professional game,” said Seacoast United PDL coach and Director of Soccer Operations Iain Scott.

Seacoast United would like to wish him well and look forward to him securing a first team roster spot with DC United in future.
