PDL Announces 2016 Schedule

February 3rd, 2016

The Premier Development League announced the much-anticipated schedule for the 2016 season on Tuesday, as teams around the country prepare for kickoff in May.

The Seacoast United Phantoms will compete in the 8-team Northeast Division along with AC Connecticut, FC Boston (MA), Westchester (NY), division rivals GPS Portland Phoenix (ME), Western MA Pioneers, and newcomers FA Euro (NY) and Long Island Rough Riders (NY).

The Phantoms are familiar with the two new additions from New York, having played FA Euro in a non-divisional match last season, and LI Rough Riders in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2014.

GPS Portland Phoenix look to defend their Northeast Division title from last season, as they defeated the Phantoms in a winner-take-all playoff game 2-1 in overtime.  The rivals meet twice during the first three weeks of June; on the 1st in New Hampshire, and over Father's Day weekend in Portland, ME.

Seacoast United opens the season on Saturday, May 7th at home vs. Western MA Pioneers for a 7pm kickoff.  Location of all Phantoms home games has yet to be announced.  Click here to view the full schedule.
