DiMaggio, Grant Receive League Honors

The Premier Development League has announced its 2014 regular season honors and two Seacoast United Phantoms players were recognized for their outstanding efforts on the field.

Goalkeeper Dom DiMaggio was named "Goals-Against Average Champion", recording a 0.384 GAA to help lead Seacoast United to the Northeast Division title.  DiMaggio appeared in 13 of the Phantoms' 14 regular season games and posted a league-best 8 shutouts.

Striker Anthony Grant finished 2nd in both the Golden Boot and Scoring Champion categories with 14 goals and 29 points, surpassed on the last day of the season by Dzenan Catic of the Michigan Bucks.

The Phantoms received a first round bye in the playoffs as a result of winning their division and will face the West Virginia Chaos on Saturday, July 26th at 7:30pm in the PDL Eastern Conference Semifinal at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.  Follow the Phantoms on Twitter at @susc_phantoms for the latest updates!
