New additions to the squad include players who have experience with amateur teams overseas in Dominic Coleman (Tottenham Hotspur Academy, London), David Swarbrick (FC United/Manchester, England), Rob Wilson and Niall Cowperthwaite (Barrow FC, England), Alex Ryan (Sunderland AFC Academy, England) and Scottish players Jack Smith (Celtic Academy) and Malcolm McClean (Partick Thistle). Returning veterans include local collegeiate standouts Brad Hilton, Joey Barima, Amory Houghton, Gareth Dudney, John Eckford, Ben Brewster, and Terrence Carter.
Head coach Iain Scott has a positive outlook for the 2014 campaign.
"This year for the first time we are really looking to freshen things up by bringing in new faces to the team," commented Scott. "We have taken steps to do some restructuring off the field to improve the program overall."
