Oxford United wrapped up the final match of their American tour with a comfortable 4-1 win over the Jim Dedeus XI New England All Stars this evening at Portsmouth High School. Prior to the start of the match, New Hampshire soccer pioneer Jim Dedeus was recognized for nearly 20 years of involvement with the growth of soccer in our region. Dedeus founded the New Hampshire Phantoms, now the Seacoast United Phantoms, and was presented with a plaque commemorating the match between the Phantoms and Oxford United. Oxford manager Chris Wilder presented Dedeus with an Oxford home jersey, autographed by the entire squad. Click here to read on.
