Seacoast United North will offer its Early Development Program beginning in April 2019!  This program will run for 8 weeks and is open to any child ages 8-12 yrs (2010-2007 birth years) looking to further their development in the game of soccer!

Seacoast United coaches will run the program for players in 4th-6th grade who wish to play soccer and learn new skills.  The program is offered throughout the week from 5-6:30pm at The Nick in Wolfeboro AND at The Playground Drive Fields through the Moultonboro Recreation Department.  Registered players can play in as many sessions as they would like, or just when they are free to attend.  No attendance is taken.

Seacoast United recognizes that the more kids play soccer, the better they get!

Each session introduces several new skills and tactics for the players to experience and discuss.  Small sided games and group activities will be used to introduce and test out these new skills and new ideas.  Players will be engaged in this learning process and will enjoy the opportunity to share with their teammates their ideas and experiences.  This experimenting of the skills & idea sharing is what makes this EDP program fertile ground for exceptional and quick skill development!

Developmentally appropriate technical and tactic skills will be introduced by both players and coaches.  Players will be given opportunities to try out these skills in a fun environment where experimentation and learning are supported. The last 45 minutes of every session will be several short 10 minute small sided games where all players are brought together after each game for a drink of water and to discuss their successes and failures.  As a coach these are the most interesting moments of the training sessions.  The process of learning is fun and engaging for their powerful and creative minds.
