Skovron Joins Seacoast United Field Hockey Staff

HAMPTON, NH - Seacoast United announces the addition of Eli Skovron to its full-time Field Hockey coaching staff.  Skovron is the latest addition to this growing program, which has expanded south into Massachusetts and now runs programs out of two locations: Hampton, NH and Amesbury, MA.  Eli will serve as the Assistant Field Hockey Director at the Hampton location.
 
Eli Skovron has been coaching with Seacoast United Field Hockey for the past 6 years and is excited to join the full time Coaching Staff.  She played club field hockey at Seacoast from 1998-2004 and was a member of the first Seacoast United Field Hockey team.   This past year, Eli worked with the Seacoast United U16 team and will be working with the U19s this winter.

Eli graduated from Holy Cross in 2008 where she was a 3-year starter for the Crusaders.  She was named to the Patriot League Second Team in 2006 and was the captain of her team in 2007. Throughout her four years in college, Eli spent her summers coaching at field hockey camps in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  Upon graduation, Eli worked as the assistant coach for the Merrimack College Field Hockey team.   
 
A 2004 graduate of Exeter High School, Eli was a 3 year letter recipient for field hockey and lacrosse.   This fall will be Eli’s second year as Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Exeter High School.  
 
In addition to coaching, Eli received her Master’s in Elementary Education (1-6) from Lesley University in 2010. Upon graduation, Eli worked as a classroom assistant at Newmarket Elementary School (3 yrs) and for the past 4 years she has been working as a math teacher at Learning Skills Academy in Rye.
