EPPING, NH - A highly competitive atmosphere surrounds the Regional Club Championships (RCC) every year as club teams battle it out to be one of 16 squads in the U-14 Girls, U-16 Girls and U-19 Girls divisions. Teams that finish at the top of their RCC earn a bid to the National Club Championship, moving one step closer to being crowned the National Club Champions.
Seacoast United Field Hockey is proud to have been named one of the host sites for the 2021 USA Field Hockey Northeast Regional Tournament. The Club will host the Region 1-3 Under-14 and Under-16 qualifiers at the Seacoast United Outdoor Complex in Epping, NH. This is the 7th time SUFH has been named a host site, the first taking place in 2013!
“A lot has changed since we hosted last year’s event and I think all of us are really looking forward to this weekend and things being somewhat back to normal.” Said Director of Field Hockey Sarah Michaud. “We have such a great relationship with USA Field Hockey and it speaks volumes that this is the seventh year we have hosted the RCCs.” Michaud went on to say, “The weather looks great, we have some fantastic teams joining us and all signs are pointing to a great weekend of field hockey.”
The Seacoast United U-14 team is coached by Melissa Nawn and Meg Bozek and the U-16 is coached by Sarah Michaud and Annie Villare. Both teams will be hoping to qualify from this weekend’s RCC and compete for the title of 2021 National Club Champions.
