Seacoast United Pirates Excel at New York Tournament

The Seacoast United Pirates 12U Blue Baseball Club from Seacoast United in Hampton, NH, recently returned home from Cooperstown, NY where the team competed against baseball organizations from across the country in a week-long tournament based at the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament complex.
Led by Scott Dubben, Director of Baseball, Corey Andersen, Assistant Director of Baseball, and Eric Wells, full time Club Coach, the all-star team was comprised of 13 players specially selected to represent the entire Seacoast region, including players from Portsmouth, Dover, Rye, Rochester, Barrington and Southern Maine. The team went 5-1 through tournament pool play where they faced lineups from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Maine.  The boys won their first round of playoffs against the Champions International Baseball Academy from Wisconsin and then lost a very close game to the Chester County Bobcats from Pennsylvania.  
This was Seacoast United Baseball Club’s first ever 12U team at the Cooperstown Tournament. The week of August 17th to the 23rd was the NATC Players Showcase Championship Week. The team ended up ranking 20th out of 104 teams!
Players include Keagan Calero from Rochester, Coby Johnson from Berwick,ME, Tyler Oliver from Lebanon, Maine, Axel Post from Barrington, Trevor Van Allen from Portsmouth, Max Malila, Dylan Chase, Dylan King and Nick Guerin from Rye, Aiden McDonough, Sam LaChance , Ryan Coleman and Luke Banaian from Dover.
