HAMPTON, NH -- Seacoast United Baseball Club is proud to announce that Kik'e Calero is joining the staff.  Calero will act as the National Recruiting Coordinator where he will be consulting with Seacoast United members who are interested in continuing their baseball careers at the college level.

Calero has been working with players and assisting them in making college connections for the last twenty years while utilizing his connections he has made as a professional scout, manager and ballplayer.   Kik'e has helped to successfully place hundreds of players into collegiate baseball programs and universities.

Calero has had a strong relationship with Scott Dubben, Seacoast United's Director of Baseball, since the start of SUSC's baseball program in 2012.

“I am so proud to finally be part of such a forward thinking club,” says Kik'e of this recent partnership.   “I’ve been watching Scott and the whole organization develop into New Hampshire’s number one baseball club.”

Calero’s baseball career spans 27 years and includes playing at the professional level, coaching at the collegiate level, and recruiting across the US, Puerto Rico, and Latin America.  He has been living New Hampshire's seacoast area for the last 11 years where he has coached and consulted for USA Maverick’s players and worked as an Associate Scout for the Tampa Bay Rays as well as coached travel teams including the Northeast Yankees at the Area Code games in CA.

“Nobody is more excited than I am about this new venture.   New England has a lot to offer the national baseball stage and Seacoast United is leading the way to get New Hampshire players recognized.  It is only a matter of time before we are recognized on the national level,”  added Calero.

“Kik'e has been a mentor and a friend since I met him in 2012 and I could not be happier to officially add him to our staff,” said Dubben.  “His experience, knowledge of the game, and passion for helping kids in this area realize their dreams of playing baseball at the next level is something we are very excited about!”
