Seacoast United Sports Club is proud to announce that it will be teaming up once again with New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) and will be hosting its second Virtual Career Fair on Thursday, 15th April from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
The purpose of the event is to bring Seacoast United’s extensive network of families, businesses and community partners together in an effort to combat the number of challenges the region is currently dealing with whether it be due to the pandemic, high unemployment or ageing population. The event in January was a massive success which saw over 100 employers, 300+ employees and 3,200 job openings. The Career Fair will be a FREE event open to both employers and prospective employees. In addition to securing businesses through the NH Job & Resource Fair, all Seacoast United Business Network members will be invited to attend the event. The Virtual Career Fair will cater to a wide range of attendees ranging from prospective graduates to professionals and will showcase legitimate career opportunities for people across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with hiring business in the great State of New Hampshire” said Job & Resource Fair Coordinator Kate LaPierre. “There will be opportunities with large, small, new and long-established businesses in the area.”
“The first event was a huge success for a number of reasons and we knew instantly that we had to partner with NHES once again.” Commented Sales and Marketing Director James Peterson. “There were all types of companies on board last time and it was great to see all facets of business involved.” Peterson went on to say, “We hope this is another step towards all of us bouncing back and we are happy to use our platform to bring all these pieces together.”
NH Employment Security (NHES) is a federally funded state agency that operates a free public Employment Service which benefits the job seeker, the employer, and the economy by helping people find work through work search programs, employment information and economic and labor market information; and by assisting employers with job openings, and economic and labor market information which benefits the employer in making informed decisions about their business, relative to the economy. Today NHES has 12 local offices located across the state to provide free services to job seekers and employers They are offering virtual services until further notice.
