Scott comes to Seacoast United with an extensive coaching background. From 2000-2005, Iain coached with Scottish First Division club Queen of the South, 3 of those years as head coach. After his years with QOS, he served as the Youth Academy Director for Gretna Football Club in the Scottish Premier league from 2006-07, then moved on to become the Gretna FC First Team Assistant Manager (‘07-‘08). Most recently, Scott worked at the senior level in Player Coach Development and Pro Youth Performance with the Scottish Football Association and Scottish Premier League Academy Monitoring (2008-2010). Scott holds numerous coaching qualifications, including the UEFA A license, UEFA level 5 youth license, a diploma in Sport Psychology, and has received the Youth Directors Award, PSM Performance Sport Movement Award, and the Scottish FA Course Tutor Award. He is currently the Seacoast United Phantoms PDL head coach.
Chris, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, started with Seacoast United in 2011. Before SUSC, Chris had playing spells with Clyde Football Club and Morton Football Club in Scotland. Through his playing experience he began coaching with local professional football clubs. He was involved in the youth development system at St. Mirren Football Club and also achieved a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
Chris has been coaching in the United States since 2009, where he started off working for Challenger Sports and then Elite UK Soccer. Before moving to NH, he coached in Atlanta GA for Cobb Football Club. Chris has his Scottish Football Association (SFA) levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 along with his SFA Youth License and USSF D License.
Chris is currently the Girls’ Director of Coaching and coaches the U14 Girls Elite and U12 Girls Premier Pool teams.
Boys’ Director of Coaching, Jr. Academy Director: Peter Decker
Peter was born in Manchester, England and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Honors) in Secondary Physical Education in 2008. During his playing career at University, Peter was a 4-year starter and also had spells at various clubs throughout the North-West of England.
Peter has been involved with Seacoast United since the summer of 2007. Initally brought over to coach on the Summer Camp program, Peter joined the Club in a full-time role in 2009. His current role includes being the Boys Coaching Director (U11-U18) as well as being the Director of the Junior Academy Program, which he has grown to 8 locations and currently includes over 700 players.
Coaching qualifications include English FA levels 1 & 2 as well as a USSF C license.
