3 Seacoast United Players Selected for Red Bulls High School Cup

Three players from the Seacoast United Development Academy were selected to play in the 2010 New York Red Bulls High School Cup on Sunday, July 25th.  Forward Stefan Defregger (Gilford, NH) and midfielders Fazal Nabi (Portland, ME) and Jimmy Petruccelli (Brentwood, NH) were named to the squad of 16 players representing the East.

The 2010 New York Red Bulls High School Cup is an All-Star game that features top USSF Development Academy players from across the country in an East vs. West format.  The purpose of the New York Red Bulls High School Cup is to showcase the top academy players who are rising Seniors of the Class of 2011, while giving them a true taste of the professional soccer experience.  The 2010 High School Cup will take place in the brand new, soccer specific Red Bull Arena located in Harrison, NJ.

The 2010 New York Red Bulls High School Cup will be run in conjunction with the Barclay’s New York Challenge featuring the New York Red Bulls, English clubs Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Portuguese club Sporting Clube de Portugal.  For full information on the event, please click here.
